Onyx N96 & Microsoft Word App?

I don't have any of the Onyx ereaders, but I noticed that they support google play and bluetooth. I was wondering if anyone has tried the ereader (either N96 or one of the other models) with the microsoft word app? It seems like it would be amazing for writing sessions with less eyestrain.

I am not into Microsoft products, but I have edited/composed many thousands of pages using KingSoft Office. Most of them on a T68 with the original Lynx firmware, and BlueTooth keyboard.

Experience may vary though: on some combinations of firmwares and models, KingSoft is laggy. (I am not in panic mode because I am not currently back to heavy text processing. BUT I am convinced this should be a high priority of the firmware developers - to take care that their configuration does not cripple those applications that use editor controls like KingSoft. Because, sometimes one firmware release makes those apps unusable, and sometimes it is just fine. They should check before releasing...).

The Android version of Microsoft Word has some stringent requirements to run, I don't know the specs of the N96, but it will not run on my Max Carta, so I kind of doubt it. However, Microsoft released an earlier Office app that I think was called Office Mobile that has more liberal requirements. Or you can look for an earlier implementation with fewer features.

I just noticed that Onyx is potentially putting out a "Typewriter" (eink tablet with keyboard) early next year, so I'm going to wait and see if that becomes available, as it would be right up my alley. Thanks for the replies!
