Export of library fails

hi

I've added a few books to library in the past 6 months and wanted to backup but when I try to export, it fails. I've done the copy paste manual way but just would like to know if anyone else has similar issue,
here is error I get,

calibre, version 3.0.0
ERROR: Failed: Failed to export data. Click "Show Details" for more information.

I have the exact same problem, finished cleaning up my library, now cannot export it, with the exact same error.

That said, If I check library maintenance it is "backing up" 26,000 books, so perhaps it is busy?

I cannot however see anyway to stop the backup process.

Trying to export huge libraries is not a good idea, instead just copy the library folder to back it up.
