Silliness Win a Kindle rules change...

Well, the "official" win a Kindle thread is closed, so I thought I'd toss in a few ideas of how they could determine the winner.

I'd say that they should award the K2 to the entrant who has managed to insert a Kindle and Sony 505 reference into a Harv and Vera story.

Or to the entrant who has the best sockpuppet character that he refrained from entering, since it wasn't taking place in the actual llounge...

Or to the entrant who lives in a really cold environment and needs all the winter distraction he can get. Obviously this one would need to be in conjunction with the above two, just to exclude the Canadian Bastiches who spell things funny and would try to horn in...

Maybe they have some clever means of closing it to those who have already posted in order to prevent some nut job from trying to propose new rules or something...

Be very careful. Canadians are already excluded from the contest. If you exclude us again that doesn't make us excluded squared, it means that we're excluded from the exclusion. I'm going to enter the contest now, win the K2 and then sell it to the lady at the door with all the money.

Yes but pshrynk was only trying to exclude Canadians (again) in his valiant attempt to corner the prize.

I think the contest should have been to win a Kindle 2 for USA based members or win the equivalent value in Swiss chocolate for other members.

We should give the K2 to an entrant who has a karma score between 31000 and 33000 and has just one of the above criteria.

How 'bout giving it to the first entrant who can prove they were accurately pointed towards Mecca, standing on one foot, their left arm out, palm up, and their right arm on their left, chanting three times, "Bottle to Genie... Genie to Master... Master to Mecca... Ramdah!"
