K4NT upgrade to Oasis - Collections - Page 2

I still have a Kindle Keyboard which I like. I never much cared for touch screens, I never could use a touch interface without aggravating issues about "clicking" on something that I just meant to select and other issues. So page turn buttons are essential for me. I don't care about the light, I'll not be using it. I tried both kindles in the store and much preferred the Oasis in how it felt in my hand and how the page turns felt. My old kindle is working fine so I'll probably won't upgrade yet but when I do I'll get an Oasis.

I thought I was fine with my k4 until I borrowed my brother's PW and I just loved the light feature. I had no idea how nice it would be. I'm a button person too, which is why I've never really thought about the PW or Voyage...

I agree with Ravensknight--I think you might like the light feature more than you realize. I find it comes in very handy in lower light situations and use it a lot. The only time I turn the light completely off on any of my e-readers is when I'm reading outdoors in bright sunlight.

I like the front light on my H2O. It means I can read in bed and not bother my wife when we have the lights off.

Well, the Oasis came in the mail yesterday. Guess I'll be playing with it this weekend. I did download all the collections, which was really nice. No having to type them all out on that little screen...

and now having transferred all my books from my k4 to my oasis and sorted them into their respective collections, I spent the evening reading on it. My, what a good experience! I am very pleased.
