What would you classify the book as? I'm adding it into my book spreadsheet, and I'm stuck on General Fiction, SciFi, or Mystery. Richard, I also donated for you Stupid british pounds...worth so much money. |

Right now, I'd classify it as general fiction.

Novel genres are mainly the product of publishers and booksellers, plus of course the natural human desire to classify the world ... I don't like 'em much, myself.

Welcome, 5stack! If you go to my site, you'll find you can get Refuge in many different formats -- there should be one to suit an Axim X30. You'll even find it in plain ASCII text. desertgrandma, and everyone else who's reading, I'm greatly looking forward to the discussion. Please make a note of any questions you might have; by the 25th they might have slipped your mind. I'd like to answer everything in as much detail as is required. This will be a rare and exciting opportunity for a writer to interact with readers ... for an ebook and an online community, it might even be a first. When I worked in a bookshop, I hated seeing books shelved or stacked in the wrong section/genre/category. And I didn't even work on the shop floor! (And even as a shopper I have been known to tidy the occasional shelf in a bookshop when I'm browsing...)
