			I wonder if there is any hope that Amazon might decide to update the software on original Kindles with the new UI.  It looks a bit cleaner that the original UI.

			I hope so. I'm wondering if 1.2 might be a transition firmware. I like the new progress bar style.

 It looks like the Kindle 2 moves the batter/online indicator to the top right... also the bottom right now has a number there, I am guessing it is the final location. This can be done on the two because there is now a menu button. Although I do like the graphic progress bar and the percentage indicator much better than the dot indicator bar on the Kindle1. BOb | |
