Can't update my cybook

I have a cybook with firmware 1.1, i wanted to update to the latest 1.2 , so i downloaded it from the bookeen , put it in the root of the card ,i start the cybook ,it's not detected. what to do ?

Your SD card is not detected? Have you used this SD card with the Cybook before? Are you sure you have inserted the card correctly? What kind of SD card is it (brand/size)?

Do you mean the card is not detected or the update on the card is not detected? If the latter, did you remember to press the enter button (central button on the four-way pad) when the first boot image shows?

First question: is the CyBook seeing the SD card? Do you see the "SD" logo in the lower right corner of the library screen?

If it is, then you may not be doing the reflash procedure correctly. Boot the machine. As soon as the initial screen appears, press and hold the central button of the navigation control AND KEEP IT PRESSED until the screen flashes white. Release it, and the reflash process should begin. The instructions, last time I looked, said something like "press it for a couple of seconds" - it takes a LOT longer than that.

looks like I wasn't pressing the center button , i just did how harry and Manchiean said ,the upgrad has started
