It can be both. I bought a Gecko cover that would not stay closed. But if the magnets were strong enough strong enough, it could cause sleep to be activated when folded back.

The two covers from MoKo and ForeFront have been sent by Amazon.de.

At first glance, I think I'll like the MoKo cover best, as it has a spine that is (almost) full length, and a larger wrap-around at the bottom. I ordered the Forefront because the Moko has the wrong description; one from a different cover. Or, it has the right description and the wrong pictures. I'll see which one I like best. It would be just totally ironic if a €10 PU cover would beat a €60 hand-made leather cover with regard to practicality. (Both covers also seem to have a bezel that is raised a tiny bit higher than the reader, which would prevent the 'ghost page turns' the original cover causes.) |

At Spain they won't arrive till the end of the next week, tell me how you like them when they arrive. Here, at amazon.es, the MoKo cover were marked as "Origami", and that is the reason I found them.

MoKo also has origami covers, but mine is not; at least, I hope it isn't. The pictures show nothing like that, although the description mentions a 'stand mode.' I really hope it's just a plain slim-fit cover.

I ordered something that looks identical (at least the picture on the product page does) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MF6TX8B Unfortunately it stinks - literally! I ended up getting a refund. |

That one looks a lot like the MoKo cover. I wouldn't be surprised if they're even the same.

This one is the same sort of cover I have for my KPW1. Bezels covered, and it even has a retaining flap on the left. If the slim-fit covers don't pan out (they didn't, back then, for the KPW1, as they all had a clasp, metal, protrusions, or no closing mechanism), I'm going to try this one. First I'll wait for the slim-fit covers to arrive. |

Ok, I got mine yesterday. And I have to admit, you are right, it doesn't stay shut. At least not always. When you take your time and close it properly it does. When you just flip the lid/top over, it doesn't. Sounds confusing, I know, but the thing is, the plastic clip it is mounted on has the sides curling around the edges of the devices. So if you don't place the top right on top of the screen, it will flip on top of that curled edge, not touching the screen at all and thus the magnets don't adhere. Due to the leather spine being a bit rigid, it won't fall into its proper place without deliberatly being put there. Which is a bit annoying. The leather is a dream. Feels like velvet, is a bit cushioned and smells like Sweetpea said, the new-shoes-smell. I actually do like it. But I am on the fence. I don't love it unconditionally as I thought I would. And I am not sure if the spine will soften up and it will fall into place on its own over time, which would be necessary as I always fall asleep reading and I would prefer my cover to be closed in case I knock the reader out of bed while I sleep. So for now, I am contemplating sending it back, not because of the hassle of shutting it just so, but of fear of it failing its purpose: to protect my reader. ETA And it triggers the sleep function when folded over. I don't do this, but it might be important to know for others. In other words: I take back everything I said and claim the opposite
