New Kobo, What should I do first?

Just got the Aura H20 today in the mail and overall impressed with the device. I already updated to latest firmware. Is there anything I can do with the bottom margin as it seems like a huge waste of space? Any additional patches I should be aware of to kickstart the Kobo adventure?

You have a new ereader, the first thing you should do is put a book on it and read it. Then start thinking about what you don't like and want to change. You might be surprised and find that you were wrong about what you don't like. But, for the bottom margin, search the forum for "FullScreenReading". That will lead you in the right direction. |

Setup and learn to use Calibre if you don't know yet. Calibre is a very very helpful tool.

And welcome to Kobo! I was pretty happy with my Nook. But Kobo's software now has me pretty spoiled. | |

It's always fascinating to me how people's tastes differ. Myself, I like how kepubs look on my H2O, top & bottom margins and all. As always, it boils down to each their own. |

Have it your way making your ebooks books look exactly how you want them. Make you books resemble hand transcribed by a blind monk or what ever you can imagine to suit your enlightened or crazy ideas of best, easy or impossible to read book format. Your not selling books so it doesn't matter if others don't like your books.
