If your wife uses the library, you may want to look into what is supported for Kobo vs the Kindle.

I'm still curious about a Kindle but mostly because I've never had one.

Look again at the prices. A week or two I went to both to compare, not because I was looking for books but just to see if their relative pricing has changed. In the past Amazon was considerably cheaper than Kobo but now that we have publishers setting prices books from the major publishers are priced the same in both stores. But if you look at books from smaller publishers then you find Amazon still has considerably lower prices. That might not be true if you're shopping from other countries but it seems to be true on the books I looked at from the USA. Barry |

I've done it! I was having the most excruciating last minute dilemma but the seller has approved my H20 offer first, so H20 it is! Thanks for all the advise and I can't wait for the new Kobo to arrive. I have noticed that there isn't much cover options. Any recommendations? I'm considering getting a light fabric/felt pouch to compensate for the size and weight.

Congratulations man! Hope you enjoy it. Reading this thread has got me to checking out the H20. I don't *need* a new reader, but I sure would like a water-proof one. I wish I could easily compare the screen sizes. But Kobos aren't so easy to get a hold of here in the US. |

One thing that pushed me to the H20 was how it was marketed as a more premium device so maybe I have this delusion that it would last longer as per build quality. Last edited by empyrking; 10-12-2016 at 03:20 PM.

Thanks for the tip. Although I went for the original kobo cover instead as the seller was giving it at a heavy discount. If it's too heavy to handle would definitely check the page again

I have mine in a regular type case and THEN I put it in the pouch for traveling. The pouches are nice because they don't show what the device is and offer some soft padding around it when in with other things. The pouch I have is quilted (There's a layer of quilting pad between two layers of fabric). I have only one example of TeresaMade pouches and that particular one has very light padding between the two layers of fabric, but you could request heavier quilting if you wanted. Quilting comes in multiple types/densities. I have two pouches (one is TeresaMade one is one I made). I have heavy quilting in one and light in the other. TeresaMade pouches are way nicer than anything I can make!
