Based on the subject line, I clicked so I could endorse the Voyage. I was reluctant to give up buttons completely, but I had to have that screen. It has everything except a a marketplace willing to make decent leather covers for it (I hate the "flip over the top" type).

I own the Noreve case for my Kindle Voyage, AND IT IS SUPERB AND BEAUTIFULLY MADE. There are a variety of covers and colors and they ship free. They're not cheap, but they're worth it - in my opinion. Go here: http://www.noreve.com/en/kindle-voya...yage&results=1 I own the 'Ambition Grained leather.' Both are 6" Screens Both have phy page turns Neither will do EPub... Oasis has the Batteries [except a small on board battery] in the Cover... which has problems. Your pick..

Not sure where OP is located, so some/all of the following 300dpi 6" readers may not be obtainable: 1. Tolino Shine 2 HD or Vision 3 HD. Possibly the closest things to a Glo HD - screen as good, battery life similar, reading software more limited but can now organise collections via Calibre, and you can add your own fonts. No physical page turn buttons but both have the "tap to flip" function - a tap on the back moves the page forward. (I have the Vision 3 HD and do like the reader, though I do not use the tap functionality). I have owned mine for a few months and it has been rock steady to date. 2. New Pocketbook Touch HD. (No English language reviews yet, that I can find, but a couple of German ones have been very favourable). It does have physical page turn buttons. Pocketbooks generally work well with Calibre. 2. Boox Kepler Pro. (A poster on this site in the Boox section has one and has reported some initial issues). It does have physical page turn buttons. http://www.oberondesign.com/collecti...ndle-e-readers Calibre will transfer the books just fine, same as it does for a Kobo. What meeera is saying is you can't have collections/shelves auto created from Calibre like you can on a Kobo. Last edited by AnemicOak; 09-29-2016 at 11:42 AM. | |
