I'd originally jumped in and ordered direct from the Kobo store but cancelled that when I realised it was available from WHS. My order's still outstanding but the "Modify Order" button in the order details page has gone, so I'm assuming mine's locked in for despatch soon(?)...

And this morning I got an email saying

I just called them up and their stock system is showing at least 20 available. They're expecting to start posting them tomorrow (or possibly even today!). So that definitely is promising...

Actually I just checked back to my last WHS Kobo order in June 2015:
- Dispatch notice 3rd June
- Delivered 4th June, despite their estimate of 3-5 days for free delivery.

I also got the 'waiting for stock' email this morning, but the dispatch email arrived this evening anyway.

I suspect the 'waiting for stock' email may have been a standard canned response because my order had been sitting there doing nothing for 2 weeks.
