Several Authors that number Book Series Starting 0.5 {Prequel ??} I Wish They Wouldn't Do This But They Do... Does Calibre Have a Plan for this ???

Example: (This Author is not the ONLY Author to do this either ...) Debbie Macomber Numbers Her Rose Harbor Series Starting 0.5 {Prequel ??} and she sequences them as Follows 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 etc. Note: Picture Attached

0.5 means a short story or novella that comes in order before the first novel. This does not always mean a prequel. So when you do see numbering with a decimal, just remember it's a short story or novella.

.5, 1.5, 3.5, etc. will work fine in Calibre. It's not so much that authors are doing this. It's the way things are done on sites like Goodreads and has caught on with some authors for their own sites & store listings (some still use whole numbers for every short, etc.). Makes more sense than giving a short or novella a whole number IMO.
