Most of the books in Bernard Cornwell's Warrior Chronicles/Saxon Stories series are down to 99p today at Amazon UK.

(1) - The Last Kingdom
(2) - The Pale Horseman
(5) - The Burning Land
(6) - Death of Kings
(7) - The Pagan Lord
(8) - The Empty Throne

Books 3 and 4 are the usual price. They should be the focus of Season 2 of the television adaptation, so I suspect they're trying to catch people who want to get ahead with their reading.
