Actually for me personally it's not big enough. I replaced my iPad Mini (7.9" screen) with an iPad Air 2 (9.7" screen) because the screen of the Mini wasn't large enough to comfortably read PDFs on.

Sorry to hear about the job. I think you're being very sensible. There's not only the cost of the reader to consider, but also the 17 different cases you'd buy for it .

Thank you. But apart from the reduction in income I'm actually very happy about losing my job, 36 years in work is long enough. I'm going to become a young pensioner

I'm realistic enough to know the moment I see the Aura One I will want it but lack of money should keep that in the 'would love' category rather than the 'need' category. It's only if anything happens to my H2O that it becomes more of a possibility as I do make good use of a waterproof ereader.

And as for cases......I'd buy the official case. Buying the official case occasionally tends to limit my spending

Well, I'd wait till at least January then, and see how the reviews are, especially from those that also have the H2O. Maybe you'll even see one in a store somewhere and get some handson yourself.
And then decide if you still really want it or not.

I'm waiting too, I do like to see the device in the store first, but I can't in the US. Only if someone I know buys one. I'll wait for reviews too. Funny thing is that I don't want to even wait for a sale. I see it as a good price for the Aura One already. Maybe because it's larger than the others?

If you order now from Chapters, you can get the Aura and the Sleep Cover, including Shipping and Handling, for $A346.37.

Which is less than the Aura alone will cost when it arrives in Australia.
