Just bought a used Kobo Glo HD....
...that would otherwise be in perfect cosmetic condition, except for a few scratches on the bezel. I only paid $40 for it, so I consider that a very good price.

Everything else works excellently on this Kobo.

I still have my Kobo Glo - still working fine - but the screen and responsiveness in NO WAY compares to the Kobo Glo HD.

One issue, however: How do I remove "bot.com" from the screen when the reader is in sleep mode? [NOW SOLVED.]

$40 is stealing, which old lady did you cheat for it?

That should be affiliate... edit your .kobo/Kobo/Kobo eReader.conf to Affiliate=kobo.

Edit: err sorry, it's a separate file (.kobo/affiliate.conf)

Thank you for the info. I read somewhere that, yes, it was an affiliate from where the Kobo was sold.

Can you give more details, please, on how to change this.

The cover doesn't fill the entire screen in sleep mode, and at the very top - in a very dark font - is "bol.com." (I misspelled that as 'bot' in my earlier post.)

Absolutely, the screen is much better than my Kobo Glo.

Actions on the HD are very smooth. It's a very easy Reader to hold and to read on.
