Disappointing that they seem to have abandoned the SD card on this model. 8GB is nice for storage though I liked having a way to go beyond that.

It looks like a flush screen from the photos, but it isn't clear if this is like the Aura's - capacitive? - or something else.

Where do you see that? It wouldn't be a big surprise after GloHD/Touch2 but things might be different for the "premium" line...

edit: somehow I missed the posts above yours xD

I hope they won't abandon the internal microsd card slot. From a modders perspective that's the more important one...

You can see the bottom of the device in the last beach photo - a central Mini-USB socket and no SD card slot.

If you buy it please open it up and tell us if it has a MicroSD slot inside or if it's soldered memory like old Kobo Touch or Kobo Aura. Hope they did not sacrifice it for waterproof coating ...
