That is very useful. It would also be useful if you could synchronize the "reading position" with txtr.com. Then you can have a book editing application which always shows what you are reading so you can add notes or correct the text easily on a computer when reading.

I hate fingerprints as well, but I never notice them on either my iLiad or my Sony even though I routinely grab it by the screen when moving around the house. I think it has to do with the matte versus gloss finish of the screen. Either way, you bring up a good point. Different folks have different needs/wants in a device which just creates market opportunities for companies.

I'm not sure if i like the asymmetrical design, with the controls on the left side. I'm right handed and i find it a little awkward. Not to mention that, when i read a book in bed, i tend to swap hands and hold it from top side/left side/etc, depending on my position. I think it would be better for the controls to be located at the bottom of the screen.
But if the device is in it's final stages, then i know a change like this isn't going to happen. At least make it black.

Oh...never thought of that. That's cool, if it will work like that.

I understand the pic on the site is just a render...When could we see some pics of a working device? I'm not asking for a release date, just some ETA for some pictures with the real device.
