This looks OK! The error can be ignored. COPS will work fine without php5-intl. The problem is not COPS, it's the web server.

After some "googling" I found no solutions to you problem. Just one website in German that mentioned the same problem you have without a solution.

Is it possible to have an installation of COPS that only serves a virtual library from Calibre, not the full library?

There are also new lines to be translated. Please join Transifex and revise your language so they can be included in new version!
You just need to translate... translations will be updated from Transifex into Github

I am eagerly awaiting the rewrite of COPS that is now "advertised" for September (no year mentioned). No worries, cops is already a great product!

The latest existing Synology package (RC3? I don't know offhand) works fine on my DS213J with fully up to date DSM.

Well then just download the current zip from the github page.
Unzip in windows/OSX/Linux.
Copy to your Synology.
Put it in the web folder (name the unzipped COPS folder COPSnew)
Copy the config_local.php file from the existing COPS to COPSnew or edit the relevand values in a new config_local.php file in COPSnew.

... and try it out!!! (99% it will work, if not, just delete COPSnew)

I merged a lot of PR during these 1,5 years and all the new features were written by contributors so a huge thanks to them. I also fixed some nasty (and sometimes really old) bugs.

A small word about COPS 2.0, my goal is to have a PHP REST API (written in PHP) so that adding new client is easy. Of course, I'll provide a HTML UI (and maybe someone will provide Android, IOS apps). You can see the result : https://github.com/seblucas/cops/issues/279

As soon as Silex is integrated, I'll release the source for the API and hopefully there'll be more developers to help me. If you want to know when it'll be ready, check George R. R. Martin's answers about Winds of Winter .
