https://github.com/kguil/Marvin-Roadmap/issues Please feel free to contribute there. There are hundreds of issues or feature requests recorded there, awaiting their resolution. GitHub is very good for tracking and eliminating duplicate requests. I find that most of the things I find missing or not working optimally in Marvin are missing or not working optimally both in Marvin 2 and Marvin 3, so GitHub is a very useful tool to keep track of them. Of course, now with the Marvin 3 release, there will be quite a few new issues to record there, related to newly added features, and doubtlessly quite a few feature requests from the past have now been disposed of in Marvin 3.

@Everyone Please note that when things settle a bit, I will be setting a new GitHub repository for tracking issues specific to M3. The current one is/was for M2 only. The best way to get in touch right now is Marvin's Twitter page, Facebook page, here on MR, and email (although I can't always promise a reply - it get's overwhelming sometimes). |

That's going to be one hell of a chore. And, there are very instructive discussions pertaining to those unresolved issues in the current GitHub.

Grendel_, you have published 3 MobileRead posts so far, each of them attacking me. Have you joined MobileRead forums for the sole purpose of attacking me? And is your account even genuine, or are you one of the MobileRead oldtimers, just amusing yourself under an alias? Please give it a rest, OK?

You're supposed to discuss Marvin software instead of fellow MobileRead users. Please stick to discussing the Marvin software instead of attacking fellow posters here and analyzing their supposed capabilities. Thanks.

i was thanking @kguil for clarifying something that you had said wrong. it would be really nice if you would not say things that make you sound like you are an official representative of Marvin. thank you

Different behavior Marvin 2 vs 3. When I click on a highlight in M3 I expected to be taken back to the text of the book so I can review the highlighted text in context but all I see is a Share Menu. Am I missing something or this a change in function?

Unfortunately, you can't import outside books (if only ) and the library management tools are far from as user-friendly or versatile as Calibre/Marvin IMO

First of all, thank you for making my reading experience great for the last couple of years. Marvin 3 was an insta-buy after using Marvin 2 for so long. I'm not sure if I just can't find the feature, but is it still possible to merge names in Deep View? |

@Grendel_ No. @talanb Not right now - I'll confess that I was under the impression that no body used that. My bad. I'll bring it back. @taoofpu2 I'm afraid I'm not understanding. Are you (1) tapping on the actual highlighted text in the book?, or (2) tapping the highlight row in Book > Contents > Annotations, or (3) tapping the highlight row in the journal? |

In M2, tapping on Book>Contents>Highlights, in the list of all highlights, tapping on one of these took me to that text in the book (just highlighted text without accompanying annotation). After converting to M3, I find a list my highlights listed under Tools> Show journal and annotations but when I tap on the entry of a highlight, I'm not taken to the highlight in the text of the book. I don't understand how to navigate to my highlighted text in the book as I did in M2.

@taoofpu2 I think you are referring to highlights that were created in M2. As explained in the screen used to restore the M2 backup, M3 is unable to import M2 highlights as proper highlights but as user created journal entries (i.e. not linked to the text). I'm sorry about that - it's a side effect of M3's new highlight system that's incompatible. Of course any highlights created in M3 will work exactly as you describe.
