None of them interest me enough to choose. I'll probably wait till the end of the month and then see what reviews have accumulated by then.

Okay, finished Enemy by K. Eason.

This was an enjoyable book (enough that I will consider purchasing the sequel), but there is a slight issue with the way the author breaks up sentences to push simultaneous internal dialogue, which may be too jarring for some readers. Good characterization. I would recommend that anyone thinking of buying this book take a preview look at Chapter one and decide whether the occasional staccato delivery is acceptable. |

No-brainer for me this time--going with Intrusion. It sounds like my kind of book and I think I'll actually read this one (so to speak--I'll most likely listen to the audio version when it comes out next month).

I went with The Temporary Agent. Cold sounds a bit better story-wise, until you get that disclaimer. Don't need detailed descriptions of torture, thank you very much.

Reading the editor's note, it seems that they're considering Arizona the wild west, and I guess San Francisco was too civilized by that time to be part of the wild west or something.

I guess it works, sort of, but it's still a major error to have that in the blurb. Not sure that bodes well for the rest of the book.
