I have two libraries and would like them to auto-add from different folders. Is this possible? I don't believe it is as auto-add seems to be global so failing that how about library A auto-adds and library B doesn't? If I can't do that I'll have to turn off auto-add which I really don't want to do. If I do have to turn off auto-add is there a way to make importing from single directory a one-click process? Advance Thanks ps. if there's an existing thread I couldn't find so feel free to point it out. |

@awfki - Autoadd adds to the current library, I suspect that's not going to change any time soon. Quote:
You could make use of the command line program calibredb in a batch script, in which you specify the path to the library, it has Add Books options. BR

I'm comfy with CLI stuff so it looks that'll be the way to go. Thanks

I copied the structure of my original library so it brought the custom columns over (and I didn't remember that till just now). |

Use the add books from single directory, multiple books per folder -- granted its three clicks instead of one -- but other than that, it will work just like auto add.
