I installed the newest KOreader on my kindle 4 black and tried to reflow a PDF. But I can't find this option in menu. How can I reflow a PDF? |

@yaoxiaoqi77: As was said on GH, the option is currently not accessible on non-touch devices. If that's your killer feature, you might have better luck with KPV or Liberator.

Since there does not seem to be a dedicated KPVBooklet thread, I'll pitch it here: I have successfully installed KPVBooklet (using MR Packager) on 5.6.5, but tapping on pdf files still opened the native pdf reader. Koreader worked fine, but had to be started through KUAL. Now I updated to 5.7.3 and no surprise, KPVBooklet still does not work (jb and koreader survived fine). Any idea what I can do to make it work (i have terminal and I can su). |

@otichy: Pretty sure that's by design. KPVBooklet only installs *new* file handlers, it doesn't affect existing associations (i.e., PDF).

And in any case, would there be an easy way to make it work for pdfs? I really have no use for the native pdf reader, plus if I really wanted it, I could always longpress and goto.

When I put an epub on my Kindle, I can see it and clicking on it gets me "Application Error - The Selected application could not be started". This proves the KPVBooklet is installed, doesn't it? I mean I wouldn't see the epub at all without it, right? I guess I should post this into KPVBooklet git issues. |

Give them the full text of the error message; The model of the Kindle; The current firmware version being run. That is, the information that is scattered here among various posts.

Sometimes this also happened with me, but a quick uninstall and reinstall of kpvbooklet always fixed the issue.

 kpv booklet after 5.7.4 update

I just updated my PW3 to the new 5.7.4 firmware, and kpvbooklet just doesn't want to open pdfs. I uninstalled and reinstalled it as always, it is working with epubs, but pdfs are opened in the original system. Any idea about this?

Is 5.7.4 using a different pdf reader than the earlier firmware versions?

No, it is the same. I don't know if it is relevant, but there were some errors listed in the crashlog in developer/KUAL/work after I installed the kpvbooklet. I attached the file.
