Yes, I was talking about Nook for Windows 8. (I hear it doesn't work very well for Windows 10...at least for actually reading...downloading should be fine.) Even if you have that, the files are in a hidden folder and part of the DRM is stored separately from the main book file. To future-proof it, you have to put them back together. Now that I think about it, I don't believe the script ever worked for downloading comics. Although it would still be nice to have for other things. I'd be happy just knowing the download url, since the Nook library page is pretty useless for seeing anything but your most recent purchases. I tried Windows 10 briefly on a tablet, but ended up restoring Windows 8. I'm going to wait until I hear they've got more of the issues worked out. |

Ok, maybe I missed the post. I already downloaded and unDRM'd all my Nook books but it seems my sister bought a couple of books when I gave her my Nook ST (She now has a Fire and gave it back). If I have Nook for PC (Windows 10), where do I find the books? Can I still remove the DRM on them? Alternatively, can I access them and remove the DRM from the Nook Glo or Nook HD+ (I do not have an android tablet). The workaround with Greasemonkey apparently is no longer valid. Yes, I chose to revive this post since it is relevant. There are others, I'm sure, that want to access their books now that Nook is closing down in the UK! |

Dob43 is basically correct, but it can differ slightly depending on which version of Windows you have. The easiest way to find them is to click on "My Documents" and look for a folder named "My Barnes & Noble eBooks".

I hate to revive a dead topic but I have a quick question. I cannot get Nook study to work on my computer (windows 7) however I do have Nook for PC working and I am able to future proof as on the old computer I did have Nook Study and I was able to get my key. In order to future proof another user do I absolutely need Nook Study to get the key? Thanks, Trice |

No, the current version of Alf's tools does not require Nook Study. Just fresh copies of the books and the account login. (This has actually been true for a while now.)

Help with downloading my nook library to my MacBook

Is it possible to somehow download my Nook library using Firefox..Greasemonkey..and the BN-Dload script? If so could someone Please please give me a step by step for dummies tutorial on how to do this? I have Firefox on my MacBook Pro and managed to put Greasemonkey on it but I have no idea how to put scripts in it (or even what they are) and I'm lost. I have almost 800 books in my Nook library I want to download on my Mac and somehow get them in calibre. Is there a better way to get ebooks and have them in a library so that some company can't arbitrarily decide you can't have access to your books? in advance |

The Greasemonkey script was made for the old website so it doesn't work anymore. Nookstudy (Mac): https://customer-care.s3.amazonaws.c...OK%20Study.dmg Or you can try... Nook for Mac: http://images.barnesandnoble.com/PRe...forMac.dmg.zip |

"internal error: failed to retrieve adobe account" Nook for mac gives me this we are experiencing an issue while attempting to connect to time servers. this may be a result of your network firewall settings. I do have an older PC at home that runs Vista that I can try to put an older program on? any ideas?

Other ideas... Install Nook for PC or Nook Study on your Vista machine. If you have access to an Android tablet or phone I believe you can use the Nook app to download your books to that device and copy them off that way (might need an older version of the app I'm not sure). |

For Windows, I'd recommend Nook for PC over Nookstudy. But here are links to both. Nook for PC: http://images.barnesandnoble.com/PRe...tup_latest.exe And the Windows version of Nookstudy: https://customer-care.s3.amazonaws.c...tudy_Setup.exe |
