I'm quite happy it went back up in price. Saves me from buying the thing just because the price is so darn good! I definitely don't need another tablet!

Well, I've been curious to try out an 8" tablet. It's the same dimensions, mostly, as the ipad mini.

Does anyone know if the Fire HD8 is considered a 4:3 aspect ratio?

The screen resolution is 1280 x 800, so no.

Yesterday's deal wasn't a sale, but a price markdown like the one for today. Looks like Amazon is trying to reprice it, but haven't figured out just what price to set it at.
