Unable to sideload any books on the PW2
Hi All,

I have a PW2 running 5.6.5. As of late, I am not able to read any sideloaded books to the kindle using calibre or manually. I am able to send the book to the kindle but when i try to open the same from the kindle, I am greeted with a message:
"Unable to open item. The selected item could not be opened, If you purchased this item from Amazon, delete the item and download it again from the Cloud on the Home."
This has started happening today only. any help????

This is the message that appears when there is DRM on the ebook.

but how can this be possible? I downloaded a couple of epubs from Project Gutenberg, converted it using calibre and transferred it unsing calibre itself as well as manually drag drop to kindle? there should not be any DRM on Gutenberg books as they are free.....

Got it working again. I suspected that the problem was with conversion since all was working fine. uninstalled calibre, reinstalled, converted, transferred, works like anything..!!!
