Guinness Nitro IPA with dinner - it's really growing on me - very smooth, yet hoppy ... but not 'biting' on the tongue

Will do. But tonight's dinner is definitely Talisker 10Yr. Oh, and I may eat some food, too. But that's secondary tonight.

That should have a spoiler tag. I am about 5 days behind on my Jeopardy. (We like to have a few in reserve for the weeks we don't watch--like the kid's tournament, and celebrity jeopardy.)

Finished off the last of the Talisker Storm. Need to check at the local.

I managed to forget my Almond Milk and Thermos of tea at home this morning. (sigh)

And walked into another conversation in the office that caused me to immediately put on my head set. Got it, you like guns. You don't like gun control. You have said this 800 times. Can you please just stop? Seriously?

It really is the one dude that changes the atmosphere in the room. Without him, we can all peacefully disagree and actually discuss our disagreement in a polite and civil manner. But toss in one dude and the vibe totally changes. The worst part is that everyone else loves to push is freaking buttons and I get stuck listen to his ranting. Just uggghhhhh.

Sorry - I was so thrilled that I could get it right (you had posted earlier when someone inquired about your avatar - and named the breed). Don't worry, at your/our age, you'll have forgotten it by the time you watch the show!

I decided to go with the Peet's Major Dickason's Blend this morning instead of the Black Silk. Gotta get rid of the stuff ya'no.

BTW the new Keurig works a treat!

No problem. First, because you're correct, we'll have forgotten. And second, because we'd know the answer anyway if it's that.

(Though you're actually wrong about the breed -- our boys are "Cavalier King Charles Spaniels". There is a separate, though related, breed known as King Charles Spaniel. The King Charles Spaniels are known as "Charlies", while our Cavaliers are known as "Comfort Spaniels". )

Starting out the day with Major Dickason's Blend coffee. Need to get moving, I have a tonne of work backed up, and I also have two batches of sausage that need to be ground and stuffed today so that they'll be ready to smoke in the morning tomorrow. One of Kielbasa and one of Andouille.

And the next storm is here. Whew, this is getting old. We've been getting a storm every other day through here for about 2 weeks now. And they're not little storms, either!

This calls for serious tea. A big pot of Lapsang Souchong. It's that kind of weather

Today is the day between storms, and I'm using it to smoke some sausage. Two batches, one Polish Kielbasa and the other is Louisiana Andouille. It's been a while since I've made a batch of Andouille, primarily because it's a fairly complicated recipe. (OK, very complicated.) But I'm really looking forward to having some available. There essential in several New Orleans recipes, and they're also great grilled on a bun.

After a morning of drinking Major Dickason's, I've switched to faux San Pellegrino for the rest of the afternoon.
