The offer was also on my Audible home page this morning, and I decided to take advantage of it. Why do I keep doing these things I promised not to do again?

What I personally found interesting:

The Fellowship of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
the two first books of the Iron Druid Chronicles
Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson
Hollow City by Ransom Riggs

Etc. There are too many to list them all! Have fun browsing the sale.

There are some really good books in this Treat Yourself sale. Most are the first of an (excellent) series, though there are good standalone books too, such as Georgette Heyer's Venetia, read by the excellent Phyllida Nash. Series books include the original Travis McGee book (The Deep Blue Goodbye) , the second book in the Agatha Raisin series, the first of the Treecat arc of David Weber's Manticore universe, the first of the Theo Waitley arc of the Liaden Universe (Fledgling), and the first Peter Grant book of Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series, Midnight Riot, superbly read by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. All in all, a real sale of really good books.

I can recommend The Brothers: John Foster Dulles, Allen Dulles, and Their Secret World War, for those who like that sort of thing. I listened to it earlier this year and it was fascinating.

Hmm. Interesting indeed. Probably not for me (though I might like to read it in eBook), but perfect for my DW.

The only one that I immediately decided to get is QB VII by Leon Uris, which I read long ago. I'm considering Patricia Highsmith's The Talented Mr. Ripley and the Georgette Heyer mysteries.
