I think this poll proves that people over 50 _can_ use the Internet... Or that alot of people are lieing. I tend to think the first is more accurate. (Especially I knew that to be the case since I first was on the net in about '91)

BTW If you swivel your monitor the poll looks like a graphic equalizer.

If you ever go to Columbus market I can introduce you to a little old lady (a friend's mother) who knows assembly and FORTRAN better then any programmer I've met. She doesn't go out this time of year though, bothers her arthritis too much.

She has a great personality to boot, I never once saw her take a whack at anyone with her cane. I usually go out and sit with her and her son for a few hours, talking to her about the accounting software she used to program makes me appreciate where we are today. Course, half her original experience was on punch cards...
