Sigil portable not working on flash drive Win 8

I have Windows 8, Sigil 0.8.7, and a Sandisk Cruzer 16GB drive. When I would start Sigil, it would run one time. If I quit Sigil, it would not run again from the flash drive.

So I right clicked on the sigil.exe file, and made the compatibility mode Windows 7. And that seems to be working so far.

We have no control over the portable version of Sigil. It's built and distributed by someone else entirely. Therefore, it's not really feasible for us to provide support for it.
