Calibre opens in small window partly outside of screen

Hi,

I have been postponing posting this anywhere for a while because I can't find the right keywords to research this issue in the first place. My OS is Arch Linux, I have fully re-installed Calibre several times already and I have no plugin installed for Calibre. The issue is that Calibre will open, I can use it but I can't access the menu because it is outside of the screen. Is there any known issue that could explain this behaviour?

It's not clear from your screenshot, are you saying the calibre window is too large too fit on your screen or that it is just being placed incorrectly?

It is placed incorrectly.

Window placement is entirely under the control on the window manager, not calibre. This is most likely the result of an incompatibility between Qt 5 and your window manager. You will either have to wait for a fix to your window manager, change to a better window manager, or move the window manually.
