I think @vadeus means that the example extensions.cfg file won't allow people with firmware version 5 to use cr3-pb.app. On those systems, the first app listed in the extensions.cfg file is used, and no choice is given to use one of the others. Putting cr3-pb.app before fbreader.app in the list fixes the problem for them.

On a slightly different note, you should remove all of the lines in the example extensions.cfg file that have nothing to do with coolreader. Let the default system /ebrmain/config/extensions.cfg file cover everything else, since some of the lines are system-dependent. For example, older systems used jpegviewer.app to view images, but newer ones use picviewer.app. Your example extensions.cfg file will break image viewing on devices without jpegviewer.app.

Which of these versions of CR3 I can use with the Pocketbook 912.

With CR3 I can write notes in EPUB file as in FBReader

912 has firmware 2 so the pro2 build should work for you.

The notes implementation (called cite) is not as evolved as it is in fbreader. It actually is a very basic citing implementation.

brucelee, I think it is worth making exited StandBy not "touch", and the "swipe" as unlocking smartphones.
Get a full lockdown mode, instead of the standard, with the release without the help of the "power" button.
A top screen (cover) you can display a prompt that unlocks swipe.
How do you like the idea?
