				Llama Identification Guide

In the interests of the season, it is necessary to start this llama identification guide so that MobileRead members may better tell the llamas from other animals. As llama sightings vary from country to country and even within countries, the first part of this guide is to assist you in dtermining what is not a llama. The enclosed pictures are not llamas. |

it's about time someone took on this project. the confusion still surrounding llamas in this day and age is absolutely scandalous. and in the llounge, well, it's just chaos around here.

Wood and ZP - Thank you for this much needed field guide! I can't say how many times I've encountered camelids and wondered if it was a common alpaca or duck, or if it was indeed a true llama. And the song http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama has basic day-to-day users info, but nothing advanced enough for politics. |

Please do. There was a report on the AP Newswire of a new llama mine discovered in Northwest Canada, so the US may soon be flooded with low-cost freshly mined Canadian llamas. This could destabilize the Organization of Llama Exporting Countries (OLEC). |
