There was a programme on TV I think, although it would have been better as a radio programme, that mentioned the various ways comedians got around the censorship

i love springtime but ugh, autumn is my least favorite season, i like it even less than winter time. in autumn you have to mourn the end of summer time, so the end of vacation, warm, nice weather, sunshine... the days begin to get shorter and shorter very quickly, it gets colder, the city becomes grey and barren as all the leaves fall, it's dark and cold and sad. and summer is not so far away so you still remember it and wish it was still here. and it's back to school / work, time to be serious and get things done, no more drinks on the terrasse and concerts in the park.

Autumn is a fine time in Texas. The temperature throttles down fron 38 C down to the 20's C. The roses start to bloom again, the hibiscii perk up and bloom more, and the weather is not so violent. Days of just warm, with low humidity, and bright blue skies. It usually doesn't real break and get cold long until late November/Early December. And in south Texas, you get a warmup into the mid to upper 20's C for at least 2 weeks in January/Early Feb. That's picnic time in Texas.

-5 C today, that's 10 degrees below normal. Not the greatest weather to be training a new puppy. Her name is Miss Chivas, and she is a furball of twist, turns and I don't want to do that attitude already. Since it has been so cold, we have had to paper train her, it only took a day. But this is often not good, because now we have to retrain her to go outside. Ah the joys of pet ownership. It's been a long night...but they are always worth the time you put in for the love and companionship that you get in return. I think the camera flash would frighten her, so photos may come at a later date.

07:51AM, 4C, foggy as heck, and a humidity that is out of this world, you should be equipped with gills to even go out today. And this is winter? Bah!
