Vielen Dank. Alexis hat ja meist historische Romane geschrieben, ein Genre das mir nicht besonders liegt. Auf eine Erzählung aber möchte ich unbedingt mal hinweisen und zwar Das Dampfschiff, 1836(gibt's bei Google Books). Da erzählen sich Passagiere auf einem Rheinsegler haarsträubende Lügengeschichten. Das titelgebende Dampfschiff überholt sie dabei. Ich habe mit Google nicht ermitteln können, ob die Geschichte je wieder aufgelegt wurde. Aufmerksam wurde ich auf sie durch Sengles gewaltiges Werk Die Biedermeierzeit.

Damit ist er z.Z. aber so was von up to date. Siehe die Erfolge von die Päpstin, die Wanderhure, die Säulen der Erde. Und die Massen von sich dran hängenden Bücher in den Buchhandlungen.

MDZ hat eine halbwegs brauchbare OCR-Version. Leider kann man den Text nicht komplett herunterladen. Ich habe deshalb ein Skript herüberlaufen lassen, das den Text jeder Seite als separate HTML-Datei gespeichert hat.

So, ich habe jetzt von "Das Dampfschiff" aus der Rohfassung von Doitsu ein komplettes Ebook gemacht.
