Yeah, the one item per button is really limiting. Cute gadgets but not really practical for me. I can picture 100s of those button stuck in various places.

Err, just don't get it? Although it seems it defaults to only accepting one order at a time. |

After configuration (letting it know your Amazon account number, etc), you press the button, and it sends a wifi message to Amazon, ordering whatever it is the button is configured for.

 This is not a random effort. It's a well thought-out experiment. | |

The way Amazon pricing keeps changing though, you might end up paying 2-3x as much for a product as you would if you just grabbed it at the grocery store. One item I checked, a 12 roll pack of Bounty paper towels, is $32.94* at Amazon right now, where locally I pay no more than $14-$15 for the same pack. So unless they stabilize the pricing on the items they're allowing to be linked to the buttons, there's no way I'd hit that button without knowing what their current price is. *and I swear when I checked it yesterday it was $35.something |

What about generic products? Will they get Dash buttons? I don't buy brand name products unless they're cheaper than store/generic brands. In fact, I rarely buy anything that isn't on sale.
