This morning, a mug of Murchie's Keemun Extra Superior. This is a quite respectable Keemun, with a deep red liquor, a rather more earthy than winey nose, and a smooth, slightly smoky but somewhat thin, mouth when brewed at my typical 195F for 3 minutes. I rather think it needs a bit more time and a bit more temperature, though it's certainly quite delicious as is. Next pot will be at 205F, for 4 minutes.

I started on a journey about a year ago
to a little town called Morrow in the State of Ohio.
I've never been much of a traveler, and I really didn't know
that Morrow was the hardest place I'd ever try to go.

So I went down to the station for my ticket and applied
for tips regarding Morrow, not expecting to be guyed.
Said I, "My friend, I'd like to go to Morrow and return

It does get confusing... In 1642, Georgeana, Massachusetts became the first incorporated city in the United States. However, today we know this city as York, Maine. Go figure...

Good morning, everyone. Another peaceful Sunday morning in the Land of Smiles. I've got a big mug of East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea in my mug, and a relaxing day planned. Time to visit some appliance shops and find a refrigerator. Not the most exciting day, but probably better than trying to get to Morrow today if we want to be back tonight...

Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea while I watch a bit of the first weekend of the Briar and do some last minute cleanup of "stuff" before it's heads down on the new book.

Meanwhile, this evening, we're headed in to town to do a whisky tasting with a local "master". I have no idea what we'll be tasting, but I know it will be fun and educational.

My palate has shifted again ... can no longer drink Talisker ... can barely taste Laphroaig ... so am now drinking Ardbeg ... and an occasional dram of Bunnahabhain Toiteach (now that's a peaty single malt)

I have NO idea why this happens
