Thanks for the replies. I let it sit for two hours. Reset it 10 times. (I think I had forgotten to do that) ran the updater. It's back.

I don't know which part did the trick. Now I know that I can get it back, I'm debating trying to customize it again. I might just do it.

Can the French v1.3 firmware be installed on a US-based Reader? Would I want to install it? If so, where can it be found?

All of the firmwares can be used with a US Reader. Switching from one to another and back is simple too, for development I do it a lot. Should you? If you want to localize your Reader or personalize menus and prompts. Look to the PRSCustomizer site for more details.

What I suggest for 1.05

1. Customed Locale for other languages
2. Selecable Locale switch for select only which languages users want (not all of them)

#2 is already an option for firmware 1.1. Use the language dropdown to select your language.

#1 will be available, but only for firmware 1.3

Jeff, it may be time for a detailed manual for PRSC. You seem to be constantly getting requests for features that are already present...

Well, there's now built-in help. Right now it's just a copy of the readme though

Hello Jeff,

First off, thanks a ton for the PRSCustomizer! Wonderful little application!

There, now that I've schmoozed up a bit -- I have a feature request.

If it is at all possible, could the NEXT PAGE/PREVIOUS PAGE buttons on the far right-hand side of the reader be swapped? Where the bottom button takes you to the next page, and the top one goes to the previous page? I know it sounds stupid, but I can't tell you how many times I've been reading, hit the button and think to myself, "whoa. deja vu. I think I've just read this bit... Oh, I did just read this..."

Also, would it be possible to decrease the time for the "10-page skip" where you hold the forward/back button for half the time that currently required for this operation to be performed?

It is possible to swap the page turn buttons. As for the 10 pages at a time being faster, that I am not sure of.

I think you can do swapping the page by modifing xml file. But it should be done by yourself unless we have the program for changing individual options.

"Long press" is long. Half of them will be "Short"

I'll look at swapping page turn, but it won't make 1.05. Regarding the skip, there's nothing in the xml that would allow me to change that.
