Yeah, because there aren't any Foo gerbils.

A wizard's pet has to be able to take down minor demons on its own, it stands to reason. (Or be a cat, a breed notorious for mysteriousness and imperturbability. (On a kind day.))

Is there anything, non-spoiler, that you can tell us that we as the reader might be thinking incorrectly about since we only get Harry's perspective on everything?

Jim Butcher:
Basically anything to do with the White Council, Harry has no rational perspective on whatsoever.

This is the end product of a school project I helped my friend Kenny out with, its a short animatic pieced together from a little chunk of the first Dresden Files audio book ( my favorite series btw ). I did the art, Kenny did pretty much everything else.

Some documentaries cry out for dramatic adaptation. Featuring a story fit for Frank Capra or Steven Spielberg, the 2014 documentary "Dinosaur 13" (Thursday, 9 p.m., CNN) offers a tale of old-fashioned American pluck and a David-and-Goliath struggle in which the little guy doesn't exactly triumph.

Filmmaker Todd Douglas Miller records a momentous discovery by amateur paleontologist Susan Hendrickson. While waiting for her team leader, Peter Larson, to fix a flat on their rusty truck, she stumbled upon an outcropping of strange material that turned out to be the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever found. Working in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, Larson's team excavated the dinosaur it named "Sue" (after Hendrickson), and transported it to Larson's private museum in South Dakota.

It was the achievement of a lifetime - and the beginning of a nightmare. Before Larson's team had a chance to unpack Sue, it was set upon by dozens of federal agents, National Guard and even military units. The government contended that Sue was property stolen from Native American and government land.

Wow, even the name "Sue" is not made up but the actual name of a T-Rex? The Dresden Files are probably closer to the truth than anything else.

First attempt at Dresden files fanart. So here’s Harry, chibi
version. Reference was this. I really think it’s the best Dresden
fanart out there.

I was supposed to add facial hair but couldn’t get it right so I
scrapped it. Plus my light source is all over the place. >__<

The pentagram at the bottom kinda reminds me of Full Metal
Alchemist.
