PS. Even if calibre does not say there is an updated version you can always manually download the plugin and use the Preferences | plugins menu and the button that says load from a zip file. (Sorry not at my PC and trying to remember the UI).

Thanks again. I'm all sorted now. I've even let my Glo update (after adding SyncShelves=false into the config file) and that updated without any duplicated collections.

So alls good now
