Hardcover books of quotations work best in the reading room. The mechanical pencil is to mark my place on the page. The highlighters are there because they're needed for reading any paper book. The spare pair of glasses stays there so I don't have to go looking for them when I'm in the mood to read. Last edited by WT Sharpe; 09-12-2014 at 07:24 PM. |

No reader in view because it (my phone at the moment) is what is being used to take the photo, but reading Arthur Clarke's 2001 while having a soak in a claw foot tub in a historic - marker sign and all - house that I am house sitting. I am quite sure that this is the life. The door on the right leads out to a second-floor patio that is only accessible by this room, and behind me there is a lovely-but-nonfunctional coal burning fireplace. In a Marvin for Ipad thread I had asked how one could get japanese books to display on one's reader but absolutely nobody answered as if the question was taboo so maybe you could tell me. How can I do that, do I need some specific software or will my Kobo read Kanji fonts vertically in a native manner, knowing that I got my reader here in Europe. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=248430 |
