For those of you that picked up new phones and tablets, here's a nifty little speaker from Amazon you can use for better and louder sound. Great price and highly rated.

Tubemonkey: e-readers I asked TigerDirect about them because I'm an associate there--but they are based more on clearance. So they didn't run any this year. Amazon ran their sales early on e-readers and I saw a thread where some people put off buying them thinking they'd stay on sale through BF and CM--they didn't. They switched models and only left each one on sale for a short time. Who knows when they will return. I think the Kobo Aura is still 99 but haven't checked this morning.

Reminder -- for those who recently purchased Galaxy Tabs, don't forget to claim your free gifts. If you purchased a Galaxy Tab Nook, B&N has a different set of free gifts.

Keep in mind that not all apps can be moved to the mSD card, so you'll be limited in the number of apps you can have on this phone. Also, Android 4.0 will be the next OS version to be left behind as app developers increase the features on their apps. When that happens, you'll be stuck with older versions of apps or no ability to get new apps. In my opinion, the $10 will be better spent at Starbucks than on this phone.

Given that we use a trac phone for travel about twice a year, this looks like it would be right up our alley. I'll have to see how to add minutes and with which carrier. We usually get a trac phone with 20 minutes just for airport pickups type of thing.
