HH Gregg has Toshiba 8GB 7" Android 4.4 KitKat Excite Go™ Tablet for $60 in its Black Friday ad; I'd been looking at this at Amazon already (currently $90). Don't know if the price will be good online.

Any comments on whether this would be a good choice?

I traded in a 1st gen Fire - the very first Fire Amazon made. The Fire HD has far more value than the $50 they were offering. Besides, it's my current streaming device.

This isn't BF-specific, but I noticed you're in the market for a TV with HDMI. If you're interested in tailoring group buys to your own needs on a reliable site, have you looked at massdrop? One of the people who started it seems to be someone at Head-fi. Also: Note the tablets vote going on there. If you become a member, you can actually add the tablet you want to the list (or start your own TV-with-HDMI list from scratch).

I'm very tempted to upgrade my 2nd gen (?) Fire and get one of these; but the next gen must be just around the corner, so perhaps I'll be patient.
