I like the snow, and at one stage we actually nearly moved south to the Snowy Mountains rather than north to Noosa Heads.

But yesterday, I changed, eventually, from my pyjama bottoms into my board shorts, and jumped in the pool for a while, floating on my back, looking up through the golden cane palms to the blue-blue-sky. It was nice.

(C'mon, surely I'm allowed at least one of these a week, yeah?)

Right now I am not having a shower.
