I did a Google search to find out if there were any current mp3 credit offers and thought I'd share the one I found! View a free "featurette" video and get $1 in mp3 store credit.

Well that makes more sense than what I was thinking (extra coins for watching more videos).

The only apps I've purchased recently have been a few free apps-of-the-day and a few of the G5 games (mentioned earlier - where I was trying to use up some coins) that are on sale through today. Interestingly, my Amazon account shows "Prime Instant Video" as a free app "purchase." This is what you have to download from inside the Amazon store app in order to watch videos and qualify for the 500 coin promotion. I wonder if that's what earned the extra 300 coins?

Probably not, I'd already "purchased" it back when they first released it for general Android.

I think I know why Amazon doesn't loves me. I already do in app purchases and the promo is for those who just buy using the website to get them to use the amazon app store and in app with coins.

Alright, what's going on? I just looked at my balance and Amazon shoved another 300 coins into my account without my permission. Where did this 2nd 300 coin promo come from? Now up to 5,250 coins.

Oh, and still no emails explaining any of it.

It can happen in a number of different ways. The last two sets of coins (300 ea) just appeared in my account. Evidently, my visits to video games and digital music triggered it. Of course I had no idea these visits were worth free coins.

Other times you get free coins when you purchase apps or when they run promos like the current one:

BTW, have you done this promo yet? It'll get you 500 free coins.

Yes I've done this promo but i waited 72 hours and it doesn't give me the coins until i saw this thread and had a chat with the amazon rep. They credited me afterwards. I also did the install 5 app back in may

Do u happen to know if i could check my coin balance on my computer instead of using a phone app?
