What you need to do is to change the country information. So open kobobooks.com and:

My Account
Payment Information
On the right side of that page - Clear Payment Information
On the left side of that page select India in the country drop down box
Leave the rest of your details underneath that as they are
Click on Save - at the bottom
Re-enter your payment information
Go to Home and you should see that the books are now charged in Indian rupees

Let us know if you have any problems.

Just tried to buy Jane Seville's Zero At The Bone, which afaik is couponable but there appears to be no device that one can read it on. At least nothing shows up when I click the "Available on these devices" link. There is also no Save Preview option, does this mean it's in a format other than the usual Epub or Adobe DRM epub?
I really don't want a pdf file, if that's what it is.

ARe is having a sale this weekend--don't know about that particular book. I think it's themed and has something to do with Witches or shifters or something. But I know some things are on sale. I don't think I have the info email anymore...sorry!

I've just tested discover30 (30% code) on a book and then I tested Comeback1sq42 (35% code) and both worked.

So I suggest that the promo on offer this weekend, discover30, may possibly work on books that are already discountable. So check the other codes that are shown in the first post of this thread to see if any other higher codes work.

Of course, that's if you can find a book that you want amongst the list.

I tested discover30 on a book on the Aus list and the same book in India. Discover30 only worked on Aus, but other codes worked on the book in India.

I'm still on old checkout and yes, it's pdf, but I belive it's currently discounted at ARe. Or you can check amazon, perhaps it's discounted there.

They're doing a 25% rebate on it right now at ARe. Also the publisher has it reduced to the same price it would come out to with the ARe rebate factored in ($5.24) directly from their site. Still not as good as a Kobo coupon though.
