			They don't make Nook for Linux. I've been told that told Play On (something) and Wine would allow me to install Nook for PC, but that's convoluted when all Barnes & Noble really had to do is to just let me download it from my account, like I always did. That would have been the simplest solution. As is, B&N is either going to get none of my business or very little of it. I don't like it when it a company makes it harder to use their service. 			Except that many people still retain the ability to download from Amazon directly (no reader software necessary). So yes... there's a difference, Jon. Quite a big one in fact. B&N has taken away something from Nook device owners that Kindle device owners still have--the ability to download their books without the need for a special "download manager." 			After all this talk of K4PC I decided to download the books I grabbed for free over the last few weeks. Several titles wouldn't download. One in particular gave me a Runtime error causing K4PC to crash. After my 3rd crash I called Kindle tech support. He had me reinstall K4PC using the Windows Store link. He told me to use it. It did give me a Win7 program to download. After 30 minutes on the phone and no resolution, CS told me to buy it again at $4.99 and he gave me a $4.99 credit to compensate.
