@ssholloway: Probably hadn't finished downloading. The default mirror is slow for most of us (China), we're discussing ways of improving that.

FYI, when the download finishes, you get a popup asking you to restart KOReader to apply the update.
The KUAL updates buttons are unrelated (they handle the 'classic' zip packages from GitHub, not the OTA tarballs).

@NiLuJe:Thanks. I was using the server at http://koreader.ak-team.com but I understand your comment about the download not finishing.

As an alternative, where do I store the GitHub zip packages in order to use the update option in KUAL?

@ssholloway: Whoops, that one's mine, it's in Europe, but it should be fairly decent when accessed from North America, too. Might have been incomplete on the mirror's end then. That, or gremlins ;p.

As for KUAL & the zip, root of the USB drive .

@mmjoshi: The 0829 nightly is 675 but I d/l'd 688 yesterday from NiLuJe's site, http://koreader.ak-team.com. I wanted a newer nightly for the OPDS support but haven't really done much with KOReader other than that so YMMV. OPDS works great BTW.

Yes, there are still some work/fixes to be done before a release. For those with brave heart the OTA nightly build channel is a good place to try new features.

Probably we also need a checksum list of the files in OTA directory and make sure each file is intact when zsync is requesting delta data.

Flibusta stores books in .fb2.zip.

Hey folks, i installed koreader in my paperwhite 2 (with KUAL) and i cant figure out how it works, also i cant access any user guide.
My problem is that i get to filemanager and it displays the list of books, but when i tap any book it simply opens a sort of empty folder, be glad if you could help. Peace!
