There is always TNIV (www.tniv.org), "Todays New International Version"...
But seriously, there are more versions of the Bible out there than is decent, even with different books in them.
My favourite is King James edition - search it for "pisseth against the wall" and prepare to be surprised

Surprised about what? The Bible is full of that kind of stuff - it's not a "children's" book .
