ETA - Another trigger thing, in the first book the bad guy was VERY bad and some of the things he did to torture a victim are mentioned. It's done to another bad guy, but still the things mentioned were gross. 'Course I'm a WUSS. :P

I just finished a first book in a series which I thought was really good. Its not technically romance as the main characters don't have a HEA or anything like that, yet. I think though just based on how its written, that is how its going towards. Lots of chemistry already between them But mostly is a paranormal mystery with ghosts. It has just enough quirkiness and humor to tickle my catnips. .
So its an ongoing series with the same characters, but a resolved main case at the end.

I came across it while looking for stuff in Kindle unlimited and found that there are 13 parts, but for some reason this first one is not in it, its 99 cents. The rest of the series though are in KU and I'll be reading the next one soon on my trial.

I bought it and its lendable so if anyone wants to borrow it from me, let me know.
According to ereaderiq it was free in March this year and December last year.

Also, Blossom mentioned she likes the audio books for Cat and Bones and since I have such a hard time getting audio books to work for me, I thought I'll give it another try with one of them. So I am listening to "This Side of the Grave". The narrator does a really good job and its making it a bit easier for me. Its just so much slower than I read and its hard for me to concentrate with audio books, my mind likes to drift. But I think its getting better and a good narrator is really a must here. I also checked the book out in ebook in addition so I can train my brain better by reading along from time to time.

I really don't have a wishlist of stuff I want to read anymore. I need to go through my old ones and clean it out. I did find 3 books to get and the multi tab worked great. I know later I will be smacking myself for not getting something else but right now there wasn't much I wanted that is couponable.
